Red and Black for Canterbury

We held a fundraising day for the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal on Friday 4th March. We all dressed up in Red and Black and made a gold donation each to do so! Everyone got into the spirit of the day, even the teachers and support staff. As well as dressing up the P.T.A. held a sausage sizzle and sold ALL the sausages - they were extra yummy because we knew that the money was going to help our school friends in Canterbury.

Donna, Willow and Ashley were the main organisers of the day and they did a sterling job. They even organised a cake stall. All the kids from Rooms 8 & 9 brought muffins, cupcakes, slices, cakes and fudge which they baked (sometimes with Mum's help) and sold it all for 50 cents each. The stall was a huge success! All in all we raised $1,107.50. We are so happy to be able to help everyone in Christchurch.
